Newborn and Babies
More changes occur in the first year than at any other in a child’s life. Capture these memories in our Baby’s First Year program. Clients always have the option of having us come to their home for a photo session or they may take advantage of a local park or beach. We recommend with young children to either let them have fun at the park or enjoy the comfort of familiar surroundings. Our sessions with young children will last 45 minutes -1 hour with the formal background but at a park, it could be longer.
Our clients book us in advance and keep a yearly portrait date. The best part of this program is when we become like family to our clients. We love watching the kids that we have photographed grow and mature. One example is our Gerson’s N. family which has taken advantage of our family photo plan. Take a look at their gallery.
The first session is usually created on location at your home when your little one has begun to smile and play at around the three-month mark. During this time we really try to focus in on those little toes, hands, and other body details. These can be displayed in numerous ways as well as in Paint Art. This can also be a fun time to do special Mom and toddler photographs.
The second session usually records the 6-month mark when your child is sitting up. This is a fun stage where your child can usually be outside (weather permitting of course) and the three of you can really start to play together. Dads love to be involved for this stage.
The third session is usually done to record the crawling stage at around nine months. Now your little one is beginning to show signs of being more independent so this is a wonderful time to photograph them on their own. One popular option is to select a piece for your wall that can be used as a Wall Art for your child’s first birthday.
What could be more beautiful than your child taking his/her first steps? This fourth session is shot at right around one year when they are beginning to walk on their own. This would be a fun time to bring them to a favorite park or outdoor location.
